The FD10 voice recording usb drive comes in an 8GB memory size, and also has a built in digital voice recorder that records in **CD QUALITY** (WAV format @ 192kbps)! Many flash drive recorders, record at an audio bit-rate of 32kbps with only a 4 hour battery, the FD10 records in crisp, clear, CD Quality format at 192kbps and has up to 16 HOUR BATTERY.

Works Great

This device works great and picks up voices clearly. In fact it is ultra sensitive, therefore, it needs to be sitting perfectly still because if not, it will pick up the movement quite loudly. It definitely works as advertised though.

Bought It for the Size

Pros - Size, Battery Life, Very Concealable, Holding People Accountable for what they say. Recording training sessions, Meetings, Conferences or having a boss who doesn't like to repeat themselves. I also use it at work to record telephone conversations I put the USB up to my ear underneath my headset to record all telephone calls. Excellent way to CYA yourself.

You do have to move the file off the USB and put on the computer and put on a good pair of headphones or plug into a good set of speakers since MIC recording somewhat low

Cons - Not sure if it actually charging when I plug it into the my laptop its a sold red light and when I plug into my USB wall charger it blinks red off and on.

My Samsung Galaxy Note II has a much better range of picking up sounds at longer distances and a stronger MIC but my cell phone is too big to take into meetings and try to conceal. I wear a lot of button downs so putting in my shirt pocket is perfect. But the microphone needs to be stronger. I am not sure where the MIC is located and I have taken a flash light to try and find out and I don't see it. The Youtube video doesn't say where the MIC is located either. The device does get warm but NOT hot which is great.

Overall - Overall I am happy with this device and price point. I hope to buy the spy pen version once it comes out with a longer battery life and video recording of 8 plus hours

USB Drive

This product is much better than the last one I had of this type. It was just what I needed, with the extended battery life. Have yet to fully check the quality yet though as the material I am recording is hard to pick up.

Have a question if I may. How do you know when the recharging is done? It seems to only flash solid red and does not change as the manual suggested. Thanks

The recorder is small and clarity is great.
I have purchased similar USB recorders from another company, but voice clarity is better on this product
